Hi, my name is Jane, I will be a sophomore at Buffalo Grove High School next year. I have been playing the violin since I was four years old at the Betty Haag Academy, and I have been involved in the school orchestra since 3rd grade. I love playing music because of the way it makes people feel. I hope that running this summer camp will help my students become better players, have more confidence in playing with their school orchestras next year, and deepen their love of playing the violin.

I am highly dedicated to teaching my students as I have been taught these past 11 years. I have run a summer violin camp for the past two summers and have loved working with my students and watching them grow and perform. Each of my students showed significant improvement. I believe that anyone can learn to be a wonderful violinist with the help of a caring teacher and a lot of practice!
